Do The Soo Walking Tours
Sault Ste Marie’s Tagona Press is pleased to announce the launch of its new Walking Tours, with first Tour available on August 11. Combining beautiful St. Mary’s River views and the Sault region’s many centuries of intriguing history, culture, arts, and achievements, ‘Do the Soo’ is a unique way to see and understand our City – travellers, families, and groups are always welcome.
The Tours have been carefully designed to entertain, engage, and inform Sault visitors and residents alike. Commencing on the St. Mary’s riverfront immediately behind the Delta Hotel, ‘Do The Soo’ is available in ‘Upstream’ (Boardwalk, Locks, and Canal District) and ‘Downstream’ (Boardwalk, Bush Plane Museum, Northern Superior Brewery, and ‘Old Stone House’) formats. Tagona has consulted widely with local Indigenous people, naturalists, Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy leadership, award-winning
historians, and Sault business enterprises to ensure a fine Tour experience is available for all.
‘Do The Sault’ is a member of the Interpretive Guides Association, an organization committed to promoting excellent natural and cultural world experiences across Canada.
